Leprechauns Yet to be Sighted

So, no little green-clad men in the airport. We'll see about the rest of the country! It is extraordinarily green here--and gorgeous! Flying over the countryside, it seemed as if there was nothing in Dublin, Ireland, besides countryside!

(Pictures from the air--yay pretty!)

Here, there are a lot of things different. Bathrooms are called, bluntly, "Toilets," elevators are "Lifts," and instead of dollars they deal in Euros. I already exchanged some of my money. OUCH. Exchange rates BITE, no matter where you are! Hopefully I can make it stretch!

Besides that, it's about 4 am in Utah, where I left. I feel like it should still be Monday--time flew as fast as I did! Here it's almost 11 am. I only got 2 hours of restless sleep on the plane, so I'm sure I'm going to crash and burn in a couple hours. I'm just glad my plane didn't crash and burn! Actually, it couldn't have gone any smoother, both in plane and layover and going through customs--which, by the way, wasn't AT ALL what I expected. They glanced at my passport, asked how long I was staying, and let me on through. So now I'm trying to convince myself I'm tired enough to sleep...but airports are NOT comfortable places to sleep!

AMERICANS--We get to Ireland and the first thing we do is hop on our laptops and facebook to the world that we're in Ireland...wow.

HAH. NICE TRY. (Well, it was a good thought...)

Baggage claim...YAY! My luggage made it! :D

Anyway, later I'll post pictures of the castle we go to, and tomorrow, we go to Inch Beach! WOOO!! Glad to finally be here!
